It’s time to renew, rebuild, and reconnect

Comprehensive couples therapy for expecting parents, parents, and the career-focussed

Relationship Renewal Therapy is a private-pay specialty practice offering personalized support for couples wanting to strengthen their relationship as a whole.

As such, we don’t bill insurance. Our work focusses on the relationship rather than the individual mental health diagnoses typically required for insurance reimbursement. Read more on our Fees and Insurance

Hi, I’m Cristina,

At Relationship Renewal Therapy - I help expecting parents, busy parents, and high-achieving couples who feel their connection slipping away.

Whether you’re preparing for a baby, juggling parenting responsibilities, managing demanding careers - or maybe even all three, it’s easy to feel more like co-workers than partners.

At Relationship Renewal Therapy, I guide couples through a process of rediscovering closeness, trust, and joy—so your relationship doesn’t just survive these seasons, but truly renews and grows.

What’s different

about our sessions?

I know relationship pain points don’t just pause between sessions. That’s why at Relationship Renewal Therapy - we offer a more comprehensive approach to couples therapy.

By taking on a limited caseload, I am able to offer clients full support in and out of our sessions. Also, because our work is outside the insurance system, sessions can be longer, more flexible, and include support between meetings — something traditional insurance-based therapy cannot provide.

What is couples therapy and do we need it?

Couples therapy is a form of psychotherapy that can help improve communication skills, resolve conflicts, and strengthen emotional bonds within your relationship. It can also provide a safe space to express your feelings, gain insights into relationship dynamics, and learn healthier coping mechanisms.

If common issues such as lack of communication, frequent arguments, or emotional withdrawal sound familiar - couples therapy could be right for you. Learn more about our service.

Overcoming the stigma together

Societal norms, lack of awareness, and media representation can create stigma around couples therapy, despite its proven effectiveness in improving relationships and enhancing overall well-being.

Understanding and challenging these stigmas with your partner can help you both invest in building and maintaining a healthy thriving relationship together.

Mindfulness in your relationship

Mindfulness is all about being fully present and aware of your thoughts, feelings, and sensations in the moment, without judgment or attachment.

In relationships, mindfulness can help partners regulate their responses and more fully accept one another, resulting in less negative fallout when conflict arises.

Mindfulness within couples therapy fosters deeper empathy and ultimately, deeper connection.
